REMINDER: Paxton Voted For The Texas Law To Give Data Centers Billions In Tax Handouts
As AG, Paxton stalled decisions on data centers while industry donations to him “exploded”
AUSTIN, TX — A reminder that Corrupt Ken Paxton voted for the 2013 law that flooded Texas with data centers by giving them a multi-billion dollar tax handout which has already cost taxpayers over $3.3 billion. Now Paxton, after weeks of silence and criticism for being in the pocket of the data center industry, is trying to erase history and hope Texans won’t remember he’s at the very heart of Texas’ data center controversy.
Paxton has continuously sold out Texans to data center interests. Last month, an investigation revealed that while Corrupt Ken Paxton stalled his decisions on data centers as Attorney General, donations from data center special interests to his campaigns “exploded” to nearly $448,000. A Texan impacted by data centers in Hood County that Paxton refused to take legal action on said Paxton’s donations clearly go “hand-in-hand with that lack of response or really any response relative to data centers.”
