PAXTON’S FUGITIVE FRIENDS: Paxton Under Fire From GOP As He Refuses To Say Why He Was In Dubai Partying With Fugitives
AUSTIN, TX — Corrupt Ken Paxton is under fire from fellow Republicans after an explosive new report in the Wall Street Journal revealed video showing him partying in Dubai with fugitives accused of millions of dollars in healthcare fraud. Paxton has refused to say why he was in Dubai or disclose his relationships to the fugitives who have together donated nearly $200,000 to his campaigns.
Scott Jennings was flabbergasted by the shocking video when first asked about it on air, saying repeatedly that Paxton was “going to have to address it.” Conservative commentator S. E. Cupp was even harsher, calling Paxton “a walking liability” and saying that he is “jeopardizing every Republican race around the country.”
Geraldo Rivera joined the chorus of Republicans demanding answers from Paxton saying he “has to explain that New Year’s Eve partying with the felons in Dubai.” Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger quipped “things keep getting worse for Ken Paxton’s campaign… The state’s top law enforcement officer was ringing in the new year with people that the FBI was looking for.”
Texas Democratic Party Spokesperson Ryan Martin said:
“Texans deserve immediate answers from Ken Paxton on why he was in Dubai partying with fugitives. The days of silence from Paxton while these accused criminals literally face trial for millions of dollars in healthcare fraud is unacceptable with voting set to start next week. Texas' top law enforcement officer should not be partying in Dubai with fugitives on the run from the U.S. government.”
