Why Is Ken Paxton Refusing To Denounce Bo French for His Racist Attacks On Texas Longhorns?
AUSTIN, TX — As Bo French faces widespread bipartisan criticism for his racist attacks against Texas Longhorns celebrating their team's historic victory, Ken Paxton still is refusing to denounce Bo French, say his posts should be taken down, or even mention him by name.
Paxton has been asked by several reporters but has “refused to directly condemn Republican Railroad Commission nominee Bo French's racially charged remarks.” When KXAN and multiple other outlets reached out to Paxton’s campaign to ask if he condemned French’s posts, “Paxton’s campaign did not respond.”
Paxton has been one of French’s strongest supporters in the campaign, Paxton was the special guest and only statewide candidate to attend Bo French’s campaign runoff launch and has repeatedly said he thinks French “a great Railroad Commissioner” while refusing to acknowledge his long history of vitriolic racism.
