Texas Democratic Party Urges Dallas and Williamson Voters to Make a Voting Plan

DALLAS/FORT WORTHThe Texas Democratic Party is urging voters in Dallas and Williamson Counties who intend to vote in the Democratic Primary on March 3, 2026 to confirm their assigned precinct’s polling place before heading to the polls. Both counties instituted precinct-based voting on Election Day. During the early vote period, which concludes on Friday, February 27, voters are able to vote at any polling place in the county they were registered in. However, the Republican Parties in Dallas and Williamson eliminated the use of countywide vote centers on Election Day forcing voters to cast ballots in their assigned precinct’s polling place.

“It is important to stress that vote centers were conceived by Republicans and, now, they are rolling their own conceptions back,” said Amanda Lugo, Voter Protection Director for the Texas Democratic Party. “We are urging voters in Dallas and Williamson Counties to make a voting plan. Please vote early at a countywide vote center if you can or confirm your precinct number and assigned precinct polling places if your plan on voting on Tuesday”.

If you live in Dallas County, you can find your assigned polling place here. If you live in Williamson County, you can find your assigned polling place here. If you are a registered Williamson County voter and do not know your precinct number, you can find it here.
