Mobile Billboard Highlights Gov. Abbott’s Corruption

Houston, TX — Today, the Texas Democratic Party placed a mobile billboard at Gov. Greg Abbott’s reelection launch, highlighting Gov. Abbott’s corruption during his nearly 11 years as Texas Governor. Texas Democratic Party Chair Kendall Scudder released the following statement:

“Throughout Gov. Greg Abbott’s nearly 11-year term as Texas governor and 30-year career in Texas politics, things have only gotten worse for Texans. He has given nearly $1 billion in taxpayer money to his rich donors – and what do we have to show for it? A broken and unstable power grid, the defunding and closure of public neighborhood schools, rising costs, and the most expensive health care system in the country. The only people getting ahead in Abbott’s Texas are his donors.”
