Chairman Kendall Scudder Wraps Up His Texas–Sized Tour As He Closes In On 100 Days In Office
AUSTIN, Texas – Over the past two months, Chairman Kendall Scudder has traveled across Texas to meet with grassroots Democrats and share his roadmap for the Party’s future. He concluded this leg of his Texas–Sized tour by joining Bernie Sanders on the Fighting Oligarchy Texas tour.
In less than 100 days since taking the helm, Chairman Scudder has brought a renewed sense of urgency and momentum to the Texas Democratic Party. As the first new chair in over a decade, he has moved quickly to rebuild the party by revitalizing staff, reengaging with Texas Democratic leaders, and supporting elected officials. He remains committed to building the foundation for a stronger, more unified movement heading into 2026 and beyond.
“I told Texas Democrats that I was going to hit the ground running, and since March 29th, I have been all over the state sharing our new vision for the Texas Democratic Party,” said Texas Democratic Party Chairman Kendall Scudder. “We’ve poured in long hours to turn the work of the TDP into the political movement that our state deserves, and there is nothing ahead of us but opportunity. We are laying the groundwork to build a fine-tuned political machine that delivers wins– that is our laser focus to meet this moment.”
