Texas Democrats Honor Medina County Democrats Chairwoman Sandy Young

AUSTIN, Texas – “Sandy Young was a strong woman who worked tirelessly to advance the Democratic Party and its values in Medina County. Throughout her long tenure as chair, she was an ardent supporter of women's rights, public education, healthcare access, and civility in government.

"She was a friend to many, a mentor to her fellow county chairs, and was never afraid to speak her truth. Democrats across Texas will miss her dearly, and we will take on her club motto “Change Takes Courage” forward as we strive to fight for Texans every day.
