Texas Democratic Voters Unite Behind Working-Family Agenda
DALLAS/FORT WORTH – Texas Democratic primary voters delivered an unmistakable message this election: there is overwhelming support for practical policies that strengthen working families and invest in the future of our communities. Across the ballot, Democratic voters backed measures focused on expanding access to health care, strengthening public schools, protecting personal freedoms, and ensuring a fair and functioning democracy.
Eleven of the thirteen Democratic ballot propositions received support from over 95 percent of voters, demonstrating broad unity around common-sense solutions that address the everyday challenges Texans face. From championing Medicaid and improved public school funding, to protected voting rights and investments in safe communities and affordable housing, Democratic voters showed strong enthusiasm for policies that prioritize opportunity, fairness, and economic security.
