AUSTIN, TX — Ken Paxton must be jet lagged, because one month later he has still refused to address abandoning Texas for the 4th of July and America’s historic 250th anniversary for a luxury vacation in England with his mistress.

Paxton’s escapade across Europe enraged Republicans who declared “Texas is a mess!” saying that Paxton’s lazy campaigning was going to cost them the race, with Texas Sunday show panels roasting Paxton for “paying homage to the King” on the anniversary of America declaring our independence.

Texas Democratic Party Spokesperson Ryan Martin said:

“Multimillionaire Ken Paxton isn’t fooling any Texan into thinking he cares about lowering their costs. One month later and he still won’t even acknowledge his luxury European vacation for the 4th of July, or answer questions on how he has gotten rich on a government salary and managed to acquire 15 properties across multiple states. Paxton represents everything about the corrupt, rigged system that Texans hate and it is exactly why he will lose in November.”
