AUSTIN, Texas – Ted Cruz campaigned this week in Longview with state Sen. Bryan Hughes, “the Texas GOP lawmaker behind the abortion ban.” As the Texas Tribune reports Cruz is hiding from his work to ensure the extreme ban went into effect.

Cruz first campaigned for Hughes in 2016 in “a rare foray into a state-level contest.”

With no Ted Cruz, there’s no Texas abortion ban.
