Texas Democratic Party Announces Statewide "Democrats Deliver for Texas" Tour

AUSTIN, Texas -- Today, the Texas Democratic Party is announcing the full schedule for its Democrats Deliver for Texas Tour, a tour that launched earlier this month featuring Democrats at the local, state, and federal level holding a four-week series of press events in every corner of Texas.

The events will both highlight the landmark victories that Texas Congressional Democrats and the Biden-Harris Administration have delivered for Texas families in the past two years – as well as how Texas statewide candidates will deliver for Texans once we win at the state level in November, and how we will reverse the dangerous policies of Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton, and other Texas Republicans who have at every step prioritized Fox News hosts and campaign donors over everyday Texans.

“From Day One, the Biden-Harris Administration has delivered for hard-working families in Texas – landing historic legislative achievement after historic legislative achievement, all in service of making life better, fairer, and easier for the middle class,” said Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa. “We’re thrilled to hit the road and travel all over the state explaining to Texans how these policies are already beginning to help everyday Texan families – and also explain how, when we win at the statewide level in November, we’ll build on those policies and reverse the dangerous course Greg Abbott is taking Texas down – like with his extreme abortion ban with no exceptions, and his failure to implement real gun violence prevention laws or fix the electric grid.”
