Ken Paxton's Failing Campaign Resorts To Trying to Force Texas Republicans To Endorse Him

AUSTIN, TX —  After a brutal week of Fox News hosts and Texas Republicans hitting Ken Paxton for lazy campaigning and running when pressed on his corruption, Paxton’s campaign is now resorting to his allies trying to force Texas Republicans to endorse him.

Paxton allies at a Harris County GOP meeting attempted to pass a resolution which “hereby demanded” all Republican elected officials and candidates “to publicly endorse and actively support Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for United States Senate,” demanding them to make public statements supporting scandal-plaggued Paxton.

This continues a long trend of local Republicans struggling to get support behind Corrupt Ken Paxton. Travis County Republicans already had to ban posting pro-Talarico in their Republican Facebook group as more Texas Republicans declare they will not vote for Paxton.

Texas Democratic Party Spokesperson Ryan Martin:

“Texas Republicans are fleeing from Paxton’s toxic, failing campaign. This embarrassing attempt to force the Texas GOP to endorse him shows how fragile and corrupt Ken Paxon truly is. Texas Republicans know that Ken Paxton has run a disastrous campaign, Texans refuse to back him because of his record of corruption and raising their costs, and come November voters will be kicking Ken Paxton to the curb once and for all.”
