Ken Paxton Caught Lying About Crowd Size Of His First & Only Rally Of The Campaign

AUSTIN, TX — Ken Paxton was caught by local reporters lying this past week about the size of the crowd of his first & only rally of the general election campaign. Paxton’s campaign account falsely posted that it had over 700 people at his rally in McAllen, but a fact check from local reporters who attended the rally said the crowd size was closer to a meager 100.

MyRGV wrote that Paxton “drew a modest audience, topping off at 100 attendees. However, his campaign team claimed 700 people attended. The establishment, however, has a building occupancy of 150 to 200 people” also noting that Paxton’s crowd was “predominantly older, with a few youthful exceptions." Meanwhile, Talarico has been drawing massive crowds at multiple rallies across Texas from small border communities like Eagle Pass to large cities like San Antonio – including thousands of people in Ken Paxton’s own home county.

Texas Democratic Party Spokesperson Ryan Martin said:

“Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America and a pathological liar, and apparently that extends to describing his crowd size too. A very Low-T move by the Paxton campaign.”
