BREAKING: As We Cross 100 Days of Chaos, We Must Look Past The Blitz And Expose The Disaster Of Trump 2.0 For Working Class Texans.

AUSTIN, Texas – Today marked 100 days of Donald Trump’s second administration, and those 100 days have been mired in nothing but chaos. New polling shows Donald Trump has the lowest 100 day approval rating in 80 years, even lower than during his first 100 days. Taking pages and strategies from Project 2025 — which he claimed to have no knowledge of — Trump is eroding trust in government and undermining the programs designed to help the working class. Constantly flirting with running for an unconstitutional third term, it’s high time we look past the blitz campaign and expose what Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies are doing.

Here are just some of the worst actions taken by Donald Trump in the first 100 Days of his second term:

  • Instituted high tariffs, eroded trust with our closest trading partners, and pushed the country to the brink of a recession, while a trade war looms.

  • Has shown our NATO allies that America could not be trusted, while begging his boss Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine (didn’t end that war on Day 1 as promised, btw).

Texas Democratic Party Chairman Kendall Scudder issued the following statement:

“No matter what his propaganda wing in the White House tries to spin, these 100 days have been a disaster. In just three months, Donald Trump has cratered the economy, and Texans are feeling the brunt of this blitz campaign when they go to the grocery store, try to buy a house, or try to buy a new car. Here in Texas, Trump continues to threaten tariffs on our closest trading partners, Mexico and Canada — which will cost Texans thousands of jobs and billions of dollars. Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans know they are unpopular — that’s why they are targeting ActBlue and passing laws to make it harder to vote. But that won’t stop us. The Texas Democratic Party will continue fighting, organizing, and partnering with our elected officials across the state to stand against this disaster of an administration.”
