Voters across Texas will soon begin voting by mail and early voting begins on October 19. Texas Democrats need your help to make sure voters have the information they need and have someone ready to be an advocate for them. Sign up as a voter protection volunteer to support voters and make sure nothing gets between an eligible voter and their ballot!

VOTER ASSISTANCE HOTLINE VOLUNTEERS
The TDP’s Voter Assistance Hotline is an essential resource for Texas voters, offering support to navigating the voting process. Whether it’s answering questions about voter registration, polling locations, or vote-by-mail, the hotline volunteer serves as a lifeline for Texans seeking clarity on the voting process. Hotline volunteers offer real-time support & problem-solving, alleviating confusion and empower voters to participate in democracy. Hotline volunteers work remotely – you’ll answer these calls from your own computer.
Join our incredible Voter Protection team today by signing up to volunteer! We need voter hotline operators, election clerks, poll watchers, poll greeters and additional support in other ways such as rides to the polls, scheduling, and data entry.

POLL WATCHERS
Poll watchers are our last line of defense to ensure every eligible Texan can cast their ballot. They're problem solvers – advocating for voters, helping the polling place run smoothly, and documenting and reporting voting issues.
To serve as a poll watch in Texas, you must complete the on-demand training from the Texas Secretary of State. Then, sign up here to volunteer as a Democratic poll watcher where you will receive additional resources. Once you complete your training, you can sign up for Early Voting and Election Day poll watching shifts with the Texas Democratic Party.
