Texas Democratic Party Communications Director Abhi Rahman issued the following statement:

“In the U.S. Senate race, Texas Democrats are rising and ready to take out the vulnerable and weak incumbent John Cornyn. Polling shows John Cornyn is the most vulnerable statewide politician in recent Texas history. Most importantly, Cornyn has been completely absent in the fights that keep everyday Texans up at night, and Texans aren’t going to let that slide. With our strong Democratic champions and Cornyn’s own abysmal approval numbers, Texas Democrats will win in 2020.”
