NEW VIDEO: Paxton Says He Wishes Iran War Happened “After The Midterm Elections”

AUSTIN, TX — In a new video, Corrupt Ken Paxton refuses to say if the disastrous war of choice in Iran has gone on too long and insultingly says about the invasion that he backed “Would I have preferred it later, after the midterm elections, get through it and deal with them later? Yes.” 

REMINDER - Paxton repeatedly backed the war in Iran saying he was “very glad” when Trump first ordered the strikes. 

Now six months later, after multiple servicemembers have tragically lost their lives, diesel hitting a record $6 per gallon, and taxpayers being forced to pay over $37 billion dollars for a war they were told would be over in weeks, Paxton only seems to care about his electoral prospects. 

Texas Democratic Party Spokesperson Ryan Martin said: 

“Ken Paxton supported this reckless war of choice from the start and now is saying he wishes it happened ‘after the midterms’ because it would benefit him politically. Paxton’s comments are insulting to our servicemembers and Texans who have been paying the price for this billion dollar a day conflict with higher diesel prices and inflation. Texans have been clear they don’t want more forever wars, but the only thing Ken Paxton cares about is himself, and it is exactly why they will be sending him packing in November.”
