“Longhorns have changed the world. Now, many more students across Texas will have the chance to reach their full potential and lead.
“Texas Democrats applaud the University of Texas at Austin for building a more inclusive system that offers a brighter future for their students and the great state they will soon lead. No one should face crushing student loan debt for pursuing a quality education.
“The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M have led the way; now it is up to Texas Democrats to elect a state legislature and government that champions our students and colleges who will follow our flagship institutions’ lead.
“As a Longhorn, I could not be more proud of my alma mater.”
