Sid Miller likes “get a rope” comment for Kim Olson and U.S. Sen. Cory Booker

Austin, TX – Sid Miller promoted a picture on his Facebook of Democratic opponent Kim Olson with U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, inviting disgusting messages from his supporters. Instead of deleting calls for violence on his post, Sid Miller “liked” the disturbing comments.

Texas Democratic Party Press Secretary Delma Limones issued the following statement:

“Sid Miller’s long history of attacking women and marginalized communities gives Donald Trump’s bigotry a good run for its money.

“Racist, misogynist Texas Trump Republican Sid Miller is using his platform to spread hatred and violence again.

“This time, Miller liked to notion of ‘getting a rope’ for her and an African American United States Senator. Last month, he called his opponent ‘damaged goods’.

“Sid Miller is completely unhinged. Texans deserve better than a Trump Republican Party who spreads hatred and empowers white supremacists.

“With only 57 days until Election Day, Kim Olson is meeting with Texans across this great state, listening to their concerns, and tirelessly fighting for their fair shot to get ahead.”
